Parish Church of Tabán

Name: Parish Church of Tabán
Category: Religious buildings
Location: 1016 Budapest, Attila utca 11.

The Parish Church for the quarter of Tabán is the only sign of the age of the Serbian tanners which has survived the demolition by the bulldozers in the 1930s. It is a Baroque building dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria and built on the site of an old medieval Church transformed into a mosque by the Turks.
