Description

The main street in the quarter of Víziváros stretches out in parallel to the Danube. At No. 7, the French Institute opened in 1992. On the other side of the street, a small Baroque house holds a French restaurant, the “Jardin de Paris”. At Nos. 30 and 32 the former Capuchin convent precedes Corvin tér, square that is lined with Baroque houses (Nos. 2 to 5) and the Redoute of Buda, a Neo-classical theatre where the Hungarian Folklore Ensemble has its home.
